Some things are better said later.
shTime keeps what you write today (a word, a letter, a photo, your voice, a video) and hands it to the person you choose, at the moment in their life you set.
For their 18th birthday. For the birth of their child. For your twentieth anniversary. For yourself, ten years from now.
ONE PEBBLE A DAY
Writing for twenty years from now is a rare gesture. Gathering is an everyday one: shTime asks you one question a day, and it is addressed to someone, not “what was good today?”, but “what would you have liked to show Flora today?”
What you leave doesn't go anywhere yet: it stays with you, waiting. Choosing who it will reach is a second gesture, and that is the right order: at the moment you find something good, you don't yet know who it is for. On iPhone, the Share icon in Photos and Files drops straight into shTime.
And nothing counts the days. No streak, no badge, no broken chain. A streak punishes forgetting; shTime promises that nothing is lost if you stop.
ONE GARDEN PER PERSON
You open a garden for each person you want to write to, and you set milestones in it: turning 18, a first job, the day they become a parent. Then you leave pebbles (a word, a photo, a voice) and each one waits for its milestone.
This isn't a single scheduled message. It's a correspondence built over years, arriving in pieces, for a long time.
YOU CHOOSE HOW IT ARRIVES
All at once, on the day. A drop at a time, one pebble after another. Or at random, over years, so they never know when the next one will fall.
WRITING TOGETHER
A whole family can write in the same garden. Each person leaves what they want without seeing what the others wrote, or seeing it, if you'd rather it be an album. You choose when you open the garden, and that choice is final: what was written under a promise of secrecy is never revealed afterwards.
ONE EVENT, ONE QR CODE
For a wedding, a farewell, a milestone birthday: open an event garden and print its QR code. Your guests leave a word, a photo or a voice by scanning it: nothing to install, no account to create. It all comes back to you at the moment you chose.
AND THEY CAN WRITE BACK
Beneath the message they receive, the recipient finds a bare field and one sentence: “she won't know you read it, unless you tell her.” A few words are enough, with no account to create and nothing to install, and you will know the same day.
WHAT'S YOURS STAYS YOURS
No algorithm, no advertising, no moderation, no involvement from shTime in what you write. Your data is hosted in the European Union and encrypted at rest. You can export everything at any time, and delete your account from within the app.
If you ever stop, the pebbles you've already left will still go out as planned. We never hold back words written to someone else.
