Excellent, but a few bugs

When I saw this wonderful app had an upgrade and was now compatible with the latest OS, I jumped to upgrade it, but am starting to regret I did. It has two issues. The first is that the command-H hide function doesn't work when you are in full-screen mode. The second is more serious: there doesn't seem to be an anti-aliasing filter, so the blacks (particularly against a white background) are jagged along the edges, rather than smooth, making the lettering very hard to read.

Fantastic<

I've been using Simple Comic for a Couple of decades. It was the Simplest (Hence the Name) and the most unfailing Comic-Viewing Client around. VERY easy to use. No Bells or Whistles - just Trustworthy, Stable and wonderfully Dependable.

Then a few years back it went bad and the Dev never Adjusted or Fixed the App... lots of Errors just trying to View or even Open any .cbr or .cbz files.

Then, just recently in the App Store, I saw that Simple Comic had been Updated, I assume by someone other than the Original Developer. Kudos.

Can't Live Without It!

I read comics on my laptop every so often. I used this program for years and then my version stopped working. For some reason, I didn't think to check the App Store for it. I tried Previews for a few months, but it's yuck for comics.

This app works perfectly with CBR, CBZ, and PDF. I'm cheap, so in addition to looking for a way to donate to the developer, I decided to sing its praises.

If you like reading comics, this is the app for you.
