I first submitted a review punishing Sketchbook Pro for a lack of updates and even questioned if it were abandonware. The developer does respond to reviews, is clearly trying to update and support the application. While there have been bug fixes, the developers still need to update the software and modernize it. This of course takes time and money to execute and promote. I still use this for daily driving—always drawn back to it despite having alternatives, but there are some things that I would like to see implemented better.Please modernize and improve dragging images into the canvas. The current process is stuck in 2004, please convert to drag and drop!. The perspective tool is great but limited: please give us presets and let us save our own perspective views. Can you also make it easier to adjust by implementing something like a cube we rotate and adjust lens focal length in addition to dragging the wire pins? Also, with multiple monitors, the program can’t decide where all its palettes are—can you please update so the palettes stay with the window?

Our last update to Sketchbook Pro was 5 weeks ago. While we always appreciate feedback, we're not sure what to say about this.

Is the new update coming to mac?

I saw on instagram that you guys updated the app for ios. I thought that meant for all apple products but I guess not... So is the new update coming for mac soon? Also I keep getting a lot of bugs and glitches. Like when I close the app its says it "closed unexpectedly". Also sometimes the eyedropper tool acts weird and doesn't let me select it on the first tap. Hopefully these issues fix with the new update because I really like this app overall

This is my go to app for drawing and I’ve used it since it was owned by Alias in 2006 and then Autodesk until recently. The current developer is an artist who has a passion for this program which I find impressive and important because you know it’ll stay around. It’s FAR easier than any other drawing app I’ve ever used. The interface bone simple genius and you can just start drawing within seconds. Plus you can animate with it if you select Flipbook in the File menu… There are tons of brushes to download and It’s very easy to figure it what each tool does. I’ve tried Photoshop, Clip Studio as well as Procreate and many other drawing apps. Bleh… all of their interfaces stink. I also love that I can put it on my Mac, my PC, my Samsung s21 and my iPad. Whoever has given this amazing app less than 5 stars is nuts. Try it believe me you’ll like it. Plus it’s a small company so support independent developers! Adobe doesn’t need your money.

I’ve used Sketchbook for my digital concept sketching/renderingfrom the time it was an Autodesk product to now. It hit a rough spot when Autodesk sold it to the current owners, but it’s working great again. What I love is the simple interface. It’s designed to get out of the way, yet be accessible. I’ve tried other digital sketching products, but I always come back to Sketchbook Pro.
