Every day says whether it is read at your elevation or once for the whole mountain (marked ≈); snow depth comes from one model and is shown only where it resolves your height; a lift report older than its source allows reads as history, not as today; "no snow" says "no new snow" and names the pack on the ground; and the Section chart carries a key beside its legend.

Moving today: the five mountains with the most snow coming, five sentences on the front page. Every country now draws as a skyline of its own resorts, summits above and valley floors below. The Lift Outlook plots the share of lifts typically running, which is the number a skier pictures. An explore card says whose figures it carries when a village shares its mountain with its neighbours. The sky is drawn rather than typed, and a resort whose summit and glacier stand at one height no longer loses its snowfall. Skimetric has been redesigned around one idea: a serif for the words we write, a monospace for the numbers we measure. Grey panels give way to hairlines and air, so a resort reads like a page rather than a dashboard. And the writing has arrived on the phone. A new Stories screen gathers all three: the Daily Snow, our editors, and a moment in the mountains. Skym's own tab now opens by explaining what he can do, if the two of you have not met. The stars are optional: skip any question you cannot answer, and a blank is never a low score. A new photo door asks for one thing only — a picture, a name, a caption.
