A lightweight macOS menu bar app that continuously captures a rolling buffer of Screen/Video, Audio, and MIDI while you work, play, stream, or make music. When something worth keeping happens, recover the previous moments—even if you pressed Record too late—and export them instantly. Choose what to capture: • Screen or video: record your entire display, a selected portion, or a selected window. • Audio: keep recent sound from your selected input. • MIDI: preserve recent MIDI performance data. • Combine sources when you need complete context. Designed to stay out of your way: • Older material is overwritten automatically, keeping storage under control. • Export audio as WAV, MP3, or M4A, with Audio+MIDI, Audio-only, or MIDI-only options. • Export screen/video clips with flexible format and quality settings. • Drag recovered files directly into a DAW, video editor, chat, or any destination. • Works well with virtual MIDI ports and audio-routing tools such as Loopback and BlackHole. SnagBack Lite includes Audio and MIDI capture and export with a rolling buffer up to 90 seconds. SnagBack Pro, a one-time In-App Purchase, unlocks screen and camera video capture and extends the rolling buffer up to 10 minutes. No account or email registration is required.
