Give devices familiar names, drag them into your preferred order, hide shortcuts you don't need and star the ones you use most. Choose an optional device subset for each widget. Page through longer lists without opening settings.

An illustrated guide helps you add your first widget. Once configured, you can quit the app and keep switching from your desktop. Background audio observation requests widget updates when devices or default routes change; macOS controls when widgets redraw.
