I absolutely love my steel series nova 7x, but they aren’t an option on the app. I also can’t download the software used to update the headset because it’s not available for chrome book and I can’t justify buying a windows laptop just to update my headset… I got super excited when I seen SteelSeries offered a mobile phone app for their headset but got disappointed when it only had two options out of the hundreds of devices you guys sell. Please add the nova 7x as an option!

The app does NOT have a slider or mixer for chat and game mix. Such a simple feature that is missing is crazy to me. There is no wheel option on the headset and then no option on the app? What’s the point of the app then? It’s on the P.C. Version but not the app. I don’t sit at a desk and game, my p.c. is hooked up to my tv, I don’t want to get up and walk across the room every time I want adjust the chat / game mix. Turtle Beaches all offer the wheel on the headset. Steel Series doesn’t and then doesn’t provide in the mobile app. Why? Also no way to log in and access your presets from p.c. App. If you don’t get the $300 headset just stick to Turtle Beaches or another alternative. $60 headsets come with the chat / game mix wheel. What’s the point in calling it a gaming headset if it doesn’t have that feature. Other wise they are just headphones..

There’s a section for it but I can’t figure out any way to mark my favorites game presets. Other than that great app!

I just bought the nova 5P for my PS5 to have as a new set of headphones. I don’t have any issues with sound quality except this echo of my own voice that I can’t get rid of. I’ve looked online and tried resolving the issue but nothing. I’ve lowered the side tone completely down, and tried audio options on my PS. I cant even use the app to fix and audio issues as it’s limited which is crazy. I don’t have a computer to go online and adjust anything that way. Seems stupid to not have the app with everything one might need to make necessary changes. I’ll probably end up returning the headphones.
