Stip is a scratchpad for temporary notes—not a replacement for Apple Notes neither your permanent archive.
When you're setting up a server, debugging a deployment, or juggling half-formed ideas, you need somewhere to jot things down quickly: IP addresses, config snippets, file paths, command output, and to-do items you'll move somewhere proper later. Stip is built for exactly that workflow.
Create as many Stips as you need. No artificial limit of one pad, five pads, or seven. Each Stip is its own tab—color-coded and easy to scan—so you can keep server setup notes separate from a shopping list, a meeting scratch pad, or this week's errands.
Your notes survive a reboot
Stip persists locally and syncs through iCloud, so your scratch pads are there after you restart, switch devices, or pick up your iPhone later. Capture now, organize later, delete when the job is done.

Turn lines into checklists with smart bullets you can tap or click to toggle: checkboxes, checkmarks, stars, circles, and more. Numbered and lettered lists, dashes, and basic bold/italic formatting help you structure temporary notes without turning Stip into a full document editor.
Text only, on purpose
Stip focuses on words and paths—not photos or attachments. Paste a file path, a URL, or a command. Keep the note lightweight and easy to copy elsewhere when you're ready to file it properly.
