The shortcut deck you always wanted, without the hardware. Apps, URLs, scripts, and shortcuts — one click from the menu bar.
The same apps. The same URLs. The same command you paste into Terminal eight times a day. Stream Deck turns that muscle-memory into one click in your menu bar.
No external hardware. No subscription. No cloud account. Offline forever.
Available in 5 languages: English, Español, Português, 日本語 (Japanese) and Deutsch (German). Switch anytime from Settings.
WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON A BUTTON
• Open a website (Gmail, ChatGPT, Claude, Figma, your staging URL)
• Launch an app (VS Code, Slack, Terminal, Xcode)
• Open a file or folder (that client's project, today's note)
• Run a shell script (sandboxed via Apple's NSUserUnixTask — the same mechanism Shortcuts uses)
• Jump to a System Settings panel (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Displays)
HOW IT LIVES ON YOUR SCREEN
Pick one or both:
• Menu bar icon — click, fire, get back to work.
• Floating tab — a thin draggable pill on the edge of the screen. Hover and your whole deck appears. Drop it wherever it doesn't get in the way.
COMES WITH 9 READY-TO-USE BUTTONS
Gmail, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, X, YouTube, Netflix, and your Documents folder. Delete what you don't need. Add your own. Reorder with drag-and-drop.
BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY SHIP
• Developers: SSH into a server, open a project in Terminal, copy your local IP — one click each.
• Designers and writers: reach Figma, Notion, Linear, or your bookmarks without a Cmd+Tab expedition.
• Content creators: launch OBS, mute the mic, take a screenshot, trigger a recording macro.
• Anyone with a Mac they love: stop digging through folders and tabs.
HONEST ABOUT THE SMALL PRINT
• Fully offline. Your buttons live on your Mac. Nothing syncs anywhere.
• No account. No email collected. No in-app purchases.
• No ads. No tracking. No crash reports.
• No special permissions to grant: Stream Deck works the moment it opens.
• Included in Family Sharing — one purchase, your whole household.
A QUICK WORD ON SCRIPTS
If you want to automate something your Mac already knows how to do, paste it. Stream Deck runs it through the sandbox-approved mechanism Apple built for this exact case. No privileged access. No keylogging. No background daemons. Just the commands you chose to put there.
One Mac. Your shortcuts. One click.

CaptainJMBDev86
Downloaded to my Mac- made directory changes within the first 30 minutes before I could nuke it - and it took an hour to find it all and nuke it when it wouldn’t install. Then you start doing some digging and sketchy dude out of Mexico on the ICANN info - dont download - UPDATE IN RESPONSE - 1) there is STILL pieces of this junk that aren’t able to be uninstalled - and to the “ captainjmbdev86” im a captain…..my initials are JMB and I was born in 86 - but ok - as for the app, once you download it - you are literally unable to get rid of it - It took me and 2 claude agents about 2 hours - your app is a scam - and youre just hiding behind that. - John Bynum

Stream Deck 1.5.1
• Stream Deck no longer asks for Automation access, so the permission screen and the system prompt are gone.
• It no longer keeps its own log file on your disk. On first launch, 1.5.1 deletes the one earlier versions left inside the app's container.
• Website icons for your link buttons now load.
