SvxLink voice for ham radio. Talk and listen on your configured talkgroups, with a live reflector map. SVXConnect is a native voice-over-IP client for licensed amateur radio operators. It connects your Mac directly to community-run SvxLink reflectors so you can listen and transmit on your configured talkgroups — without a physical radio. KEY FEATURES • TLS-secured reflector connection with automatic certificate onboarding — the app generates a CSR, the reflector's sysop signs it, and the signed cert is then used for every subsequent connection. • Talkgroup management: configure a switchable list, a monitored list with priority levels, and let the app auto-select based on activity — or lock to one TG and just monitor the rest in the activity panel. • Linger and idle behavior you control: how long to hold a TG after the active talker stops, how long to wait before falling back to monitor-only. Higher-priority TGs always preempt. • Live reflector map (when the reflector supports the enhanced WebSocket feed) showing every connected node, with distinct dot colors for repeaters, mobile/portable stations, AI-decoded callsigns, and offline nodes. Recenter on your QTH with one click; pan and zoom freely the rest of the time. • Map dot popups with QRZ.com integration: click any node to see the operator's name, location, and email (clickable to open a fresh message). For AI-decoded compound calls like ON0CK/ON3TTR, the lookup resolves to the actual operator, not the repeater. QRZ lookups are cached locally for 30 days. • Activity panels: a "Local" view of who's currently keying on your listened/monitored TGs, plus a "Recent" view of activity over a retention window you set (1 to 365 days) — persisted across app restarts. • Audio routing: pick any input and output device the system exposes, including AirPods, USB headsets, and external audio interfaces. • Optional roger beep on PTT release of the talker you're listening to. Suppressed for your own transmissions, including SSID variants. REQUIREMENTS • A valid amateur radio license and call sign — the app issues a certificate signing request to your chosen reflector, which the reflector sysop signs. • A SvxLink reflector you have permission to use. PRIVACY SVXConnect collects no personal data. Audio is exchanged only between your Mac and the reflector you choose. Optional QRZ.com lookups use credentials you supply; results stay on your Mac. No telemetry, no analytics, no third-party SDKs of any kind.
