As the treasurer for a fraternity at The University of Alabama, most of my job is collecting money from members and allocating it to our social chair, philanthropy chair, and our other expenses. The last platform we used was hard to use on both my side and on the people paying, and the customer support was basically non existent. With Switch, our collection rates have greatly increased and my job is made infinitely easier. As opposed to having each member create an account and forget their login information, I can just mass text a link, and everyone can open it in their browser and pay there. Even though Switch is still relatively new, the few problems we’ve encountered have been resolved almost immediately by the Switch staff. As our chapter and our expenses grow, Switch just gets easier to use and coordinate even our largest annual expenses. Using Switch for our finances has lessened the work we do internally, increased our collection rates, and made purchasing insanely easier.

We have been using Switch for around 6 months now and it has completely changed the way we plan and execute events. As a Greek organization in Boulder, CO we plan numerous events throughout the year and have to collect lots of payments from a lot of different people. Switch has made this process effortless for us. Switch makes treasurer practices more efficient and more effective for many reasons including:1. Incentivizing members to pay by notifying when other members pay which boosts collection rates.2.
