Stop SSH-ing to your router to check logs. SyslogWatch collects UDP/TCP syslog from any device on your network, in real time, on your Mac. Free tier, no cloud. SyslogWatch is a focused macOS utility for receiving, viewing, and searching UDP and TCP syslog messages. Features: • Parses RFC 3164 and RFC 5424 messages • Color-coded severity levels from Emergency to Debug • Fast message and host filtering • Keyword-based sound and email alerts • Local daily archives and historical search • Configurable non-privileged listening port The default listening port is 1514, so SyslogWatch runs without administrator privileges. Configure your router, NAS, server, or firewall to send syslog messages to your Mac on the same port. Your logs stay on your Mac. SyslogWatch does not send logs to the developer or to advertising networks. If you enable email alerts, matched event details are sent only through the SMTP server and recipient you configure.
