In Take, you navigate a 4-by-4 chess board, capturing matching pieces to level them up to the next piece. Be careful not to trap yourself in a position without any possible moves! Take! is easy to pick up and difficult to master, providing for endless enjoyment whether you're an avid strategist intent on reaching the golden king, or just passing time at the bus stop. Some pieces are familiar, others (like the astropawn!) are never-before-seen. This game is meant for both chess enthusiasts and those who have never touched a knight in their life!

Even though I’m not the best at Chess in an actual game, this is an easy going and very intelligent game to play to pass the time. I have long work hours with a fair amount of downtime between tasks, so I’m looking forward to playing this a lot! 10/10, great game, easy to understand, and very well put together

I’ve been playing the web version for a little now and I really love this game. As someone who enjoys 2048 and chess, it’s up my alley. It’s not super easy but after playing you began to create strategies so I think it’s a good level of challenge if you enjoy a strategic game.

I know it’s not regular chess but this game is really helpful in learning how to visualize moves on a board. In addition it’s super addicting and in a really intellectually stimulating way. I’m obsessed!

I always open the game with the intention of wasting a few minutes, and before i know it i’ve been playing for an hour straight. Game makes you think and really challenges your ability to think ahead. Overall I highly recommend!
