Tarjih (ترجيح) is a comparative Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) tool that explains WHY scholars disagreed, not just who said what.
Ask any Fiqh question in Arabic or English and get a structured scholarly analysis drawn from Ibn Rushd's Bidayat al-Mujtahid, one of the most authoritative works in comparative Islamic law, covering 1,711 legal issues across 12 major Fiqh chapters.
WHAT MAKES TARJIH DIFFERENT
Most Islamic apps tell you what the ruling is. Tarjih shows you the reasoning behind it. Every answer includes:
- The evidence (daleel) each scholar cited
- The root cause of disagreement (sabab al-khilaf)
- The preferred opinion (rajih), clearly highlighted
- The practical impact (thamarat al-khilaf) on daily life
KEY FEATURES
- Ask in Arabic or English - Tarjih responds in your language
- Opinion cards - each scholar's position with their evidence, shown as clean readable cards instead of cramped tables
- Review mode - a self-quiz drill over your saved issues: recall the ruling, reveal the answer, grade yourself, then retry what you missed
- Save, organize, and export - bookmark issues into collections, add personal notes, and export single issues or full collections to PDF or Markdown
- Language toggle - switch the entire interface between Arabic and English with one tap, with dark mode support
