This update brings several improvements to the reading experience: Shabbat end time is now based on nightfall according to your location, the Shabbat screen now displays both start and end times, the English translation has been completed, the app now falls back to English when the system language is neither French nor English.

This update introduces Shabbat mode. SHABBAT MODE During Shabbat, the app and widget give way to a peaceful "Chabbat Chalom" screen instead of the usual content. The start (candle lighting) and end (nightfall) are computed automatically from your location and the date — accurate to the minute, wherever you are. The end-of-Shabbat time is shown clearly. LOCATION The calculation uses GPS (if you allow it) or the city you choose in Settings. Your location is never stored or shared. COMMEMORATION (AZCARA) Add a date of death to your Lelouy Nichmat and the app automatically computes the next azcara, following traditional rules: Adar / Adar II in leap years, Heshvan 30, Kislev 30, etc. Receive a reminder 7 days before and on the day itself, via local notifications. My Prayers is now sorted by upcoming azcara, with an asterisk reminding you that the Hebrew day begins the previous evening. TEHILIM 119 The 22-letter grid now follows the Hebrew reading direction: Aleph top-right, Tav bottom-left. LELOUY NICHMAT FORM The "Next" key on the Hebrew keyboard automatically chains the departed's first name and the mother's first name, without dismissing the keyboard.
