Tespit 1.1.15 brings a new Premium cockpit, cockpits your way, shortcuts and a lot that is new in your trip data.
New Premium cockpit Panorama
• A live map with route and turn guidance between two angled scales; you choose what each scale shows.
• Three designs by swiping: Instruments, Map in the background and Compact.
• Below 20 km/h the map looks flat across the rooftops, so the buildings stand in 3D.
Every cockpit your way
• A tap shows switches for the elements – in all eleven cockpits.
• “Arrange”: move elements freely, make them larger or smaller and align them with guide lines.
• “Details”: hide individual readouts such as the time or temperatures.
• No more zoom on a tap; set the map zoom under Settings › Navigation.
Shortcuts
“Start Tespit” and “Stop Tespit” in the Shortcuts app, for example for a Bluetooth automation in the car. From iOS 26, Tespit also starts in the background while the iPhone is locked, with a short spoken announcement.
Trip picture and trip data
• After the drive, Tespit shows a picture of your trip on P to share or save, automatically if you like.
• Replay trips, colour the route by speed or power, a driving profile for city, country roads and motorway, records and a review to share.
More new things
• Touring: the time at the top in the middle and the consumption of the current trip.
• Minimal: the current power in kW with a bar, if you like.
• Apple Maps: turn guidance at the right junction, at roundabouts counting down to the entry, and the chequered flag at the destination.
• Purchase options and Lifetime stay available even with an active subscription.

Lifetime with an active subscription
• Open Settings › Cockpit and tap “Premium purchase options” below “Premium Active”.
• Choose Lifetime directly from the purchase menu, even if you already have a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription.
Purchase improvements
• The purchase menu stays open when your Premium status is refreshed in the background.
• Existing Lifetime ownership is recognized to help prevent accidental repeat purchases.

New in 1.1.13
Halloween mode
Each cockpit has its own Halloween night with ghosts, pumpkins, a witch and zombies. Menus glow in orange and purple too. Switch: Settings › General.
Minimal cockpit – free
Large speed digits on black, in portrait and landscape. Tap for gear, iPhone battery and driving sounds; choose your font. While charging, make battery level or charging power the main reading.
Performance cockpit – Premium
An animated 3D vehicle on a moving road, with a light tunnel during strong acceleration. The camera adapts to speed, holds its view during brief coasting and glides back after three seconds without touch. Look freely around the car and save your favorite view. Choose the effect only when pulling away or also while driving, from 150 kW with measured acceleration. While charging: vehicle view or a curve based on recorded readings.
Trip data and electricity costs
• Optionally record trips locally with route, speed, battery and estimated consumption; a dedicated tab in Settings.
• Share trip images with a dark map and key figures; PDF and Excel remain available.
• Enter charging-session prices to calculate trip costs, optionally with daily exchange rates for charging abroad.
Speed in a small window
Picture in Picture under Settings › Navigation shows your speed outside Tespit, during a call for example.
Saver for older iPhones
Saver polls as fast as Adaptive, disables Liquid Glass and hides 3D except in Performance. Enabled automatically on iPhone XR through iPhone 13. Select under Settings › Navigation › Refresh Mode.
Vehicle data and charging log
More charging, tire, climate, vehicle and software details, a local charging log, charging and preconditioning schedules. Toggle climate preconditioning while parked; details hide after three seconds without interaction. Initially in Standard without the full-screen map.
Driving sounds
Eight optional profiles in Minimal respond to speed and power, with a preview and off by default. Audio, engine revs and gear changes are simulated in the app.
Route-based guidance
Apple Maps in developer mode: route-based arrows, instructions in the app language and a preview of nearby following maneuvers. The existing guidance remains selectable.
Further improvements
More stable Bluetooth transfer, faster door updates when stopped and pulling away, smoother scrolling and correct Chinese terms for live driving data and navigation minutes.
1.1.14 Oct 15
Two new cockpits: Minimal for a clear view of your speed, and Performance with an animated 3D vehicle. Plus trip data with a trip image to share, Halloween mode, your speed in a small window and driving sounds for Minimal.
Halloween mode
Every cockpit has its own Halloween night: ghosts, pumpkins, a witch on her broom and zombies. Settings and menus glow in orange and purple too. The switch is under Settings › General.
Minimal cockpit
Minimal is free: Large speed digits on a black background, in portrait and landscape. Tap to open quick controls for gear, iPhone battery and driving sounds. You can also choose the font. While charging, display either battery level or charging power as the main reading.
Performance cockpit
Performance is the new Premium cockpit: Your animated 3D vehicle travels along a moving road, with a light tunnel during strong acceleration. The automatic camera adapts to your speed and holds its perspective during brief coasting. Look freely around the car and save your favorite view. After three seconds without touching the screen, the camera glides back. Choose the animation only when pulling away or also while driving, from 150 kW with measured acceleration. While charging, switch between the vehicle view and a charging curve based on recorded readings.
Trip data
• If you like, Tespit records every trip: route, speed, battery and estimated consumption. Trip data has its own tab in Settings, and everything stays on your device.
• Share a trip as an image: the route on a dark map with distance, time and battery – minimal or with every figure. PDF and Excel are still there.
• Enter the price for each charging session and Tespit works out the electricity cost of every trip. Optionally with daily exchange rates for charging abroad.
Speed in a small window
• Turn on Picture in Picture under Settings › Navigation: when you leave Tespit, a small window keeps showing your speed – during a call, for example.
Saver for older iPhones
• Saver mode now polls the vehicle as fast as Adaptive. In return it turns off Liquid Glass and hides the 3D vehicle – except in the Performance cockpit. This takes load off older iPhones. On iPhone XR up to iPhone 13 it is turned on automatically. You can change it under Settings › Navigation › Refresh Mode.
Vehicle data and charging log
• Tap for more charging, tire, climate and vehicle details, plus a local charging log, charging and preconditioning schedules, and software details. Climate preconditioning can be activated or deactivated while parked. The details hide after three seconds without interaction. Initially available in Standard without the full-screen map.
Driving sounds
• Eight selectable sound profiles in Minimal respond to speed and power. Optional, off by default, with a preview. Audio is generated in the app; engine revs and gear changes are simulated.
Route-based guidance
• Apple Maps · In developer mode, enable the new route guidance: arrows drawn from the route, instructions in the app language and a preview of nearby following maneuvers. The existing guidance remains available through the switch.
Further improvements: more stable Bluetooth data transfer, faster door updates when stopped and pulling away, and smoother scrolling in Settings.
Chinese labels for live driving data and navigation minutes now use the correct terms.
1.1.13 Oct 14
New: iPhone Duo support – folded and unfolded.
Tespit turns your iPhone into a second display for your Tesla. Version 1.1.12 is a big update: with an OBD adapter, Tespit now reads data straight from the vehicle, a new setup guides you step by step to the connection, and every Tesla model is now shown in 3D.
NEW FOR EVERYONE
• Step-by-step setup: Pairing with your Tesla used to be the hardest part. Now Tespit walks you through six short steps. You pick your model and version using pictures and a 3D model you can turn with your finger. Tespit checks that Bluetooth and location are allowed and shows you in a short video where the key card goes in the car. Then you enter your vehicle identification number (VIN). If pairing fails, Tespit explains what went wrong and what you can do.
• Every model in 3D: Besides Model 3 and Model Y, Model S, Model X and the Cybertruck now also appear as 3D vehicles in the app.
• The map stays with you: In the Standard cockpit your position arrow is always visible in portrait, and the map follows you calmly and smoothly instead of jumping.
• Light and dark by the sun: In automatic mode, Tespit no longer switches at fixed times but at sunrise and sunset where you are.
• Live Activity in the background: The display on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island stays up to date even when Tespit isn’t open.
• Try every cockpit: The Premium demo shows all eight cockpits with sample data before you decide (Settings › General, only while parked).
• Help right from the app: Under “Support” in Settings, choose your topic and your vehicle. Tespit opens a ready-made email with the app and device version already attached.
NEW WITH PREMIUM AND AN OBD ADAPTER
An OBD adapter is a small plug for your Tesla’s diagnostic port. With the Vgate vLinker MS, Tespit reads values through it that aren’t available over Bluetooth alone. Tespit only reads along and never changes anything in the vehicle.
• Speed just like in the car: Choose whether the speed comes from Tesla Bluetooth or directly via OBD. Via OBD it updates faster and, if you like, shows exactly the value on your Tesla’s display.
• Turn signals in the cockpit: The turn signal arrows in Tespit light up exactly when your Tesla is signalling.
• Speed limit and speed warning: Tespit shows the speed limit your Tesla recognizes and turns the sign red as soon as you are too fast.
• Blind spot: When a car is in your blind spot, that side of the cockpit lights up red.
• Energy data: Battery level, charging and power come straight from the car.
• New OBD menu: Connect the adapter, choose data sources and find help, all on one page.
• Stable connection: The adapter stays connected when you briefly switch to another app and reconnects by itself after an interruption.
IMPROVEMENTS
• More stable Tesla connection: Short radio dropouts no longer end the connection. When OBD provides the speed, Tespit queries the car less often over Bluetooth.
• Pasting the VIN works reliably, even when it was copied from another app.
• The language list in Settings no longer jumps back to the top while driving.
• All texts are now fully available in 13 languages.
• Plus many small fixes.

Tespit 1.1.11 brings animated 3D vehicles, smarter map zoom and cockpits you control directly with your finger.
FOR EVERYONE

• The Live Activity stays up to date while you drive and handles short connection drops.
• Quick introduction: On first launch, a landscape demo walks you through the new swipe gestures step by step.
WITH PREMIUM
• Google Maps as map provider – with live traffic and routes to your Tesla destinations.
• Control Cluster and Ultra with swipes: switch displays or push instruments all the way aside.
• Energy cockpit: a real charging curve with live kW, added kWh and remaining time – for the whole session or the last 1 to 60 minutes. Also new: the 15 km consumption window.
IMPROVEMENTS
• Translations reviewed and completed in all 13 languages.
• Clearer instruments and layouts in the Cluster and Standard cockpits.
• Many small bug fixes.
