I was impressed with the human like sound of the app but I was a bit disapointed how little "credit" it give you to test the app before buying. I guess I get it since they do not want people to just get the app once to do something one time and not purchase the full featuree set. However in my case I wasted the trial, figuring out how the app worked by the time I got to testing part of the actual audio I needed to create I did not have any more credits. I was consider buying. however as I was typing I also remember I hate subscription models, I hate the era of not owning anything everything its a subscription and you better hope the subscription provider exist long enough otherwise you lose the app, video, audio, game or whatever you are subscribing to. For that I am changing my review from 4 to 3 stars.

I tried a few of the lower cost apps to find out what might be good for what I wanted to do with the app. This is by far and away, the best low cost app I found. It has good actor voices with enough options to make them sound good. Some of the actors even allow moods as an option. The correctness of translating the text to speech is right on. I find the “delay” timings for under the Pause tab to be a bit off and inconsistent but you can accommodate this issue with workarounds like commas and periods as they translate to different delays as well. the app continually provides good results. Overall, this is a great app for translating text to speech. I am happy I picked this one.

This app has really helped me with my assigments. i have to read many chapters each week. typically online classes take you through chapters of reading and its almost becomes tedious. but with the help "text to speech" i am able to stay engaged for longer period of times and stay on top of my school work throughout the weeks. i highly recommend this app to anyone who has to get through tons of reading. even if your job reqires you to burn through pages of reading it will help you stay on task and get things done.
