We analyzed the entire Spanish path of totality in fine detail (25 m elevation data from Spain's IGN): green means you see the full totality; red means the terrain blocks the Sun. Turn it on from the eclipse map or when choosing your observation point, with a legend and a built-in explanation. Smart warning: if you pick a spot where the terrain will block the Sun, the app warns you before calculating. You can still calculate anyway. Real darkness: the eclipse percentage now reflects the darkness you will actually perceive, with an explanation one tap away. Improved animation: simulated local time, 1x, 2x and 4x speeds, and a marker at the moment of maximum. New "My eclipses" shortcut to revisit your calculations in one tap. More accurate augmented reality: projection now uses your camera's real field of view, with orientation corrected to true north. We've redesigned the eclipse screen so you can tell at a glance what you'll see and where from. What's new - New eclipse card: the date, the peak time and how much of the Sun will be hidden (or how much of the Moon covered) in three boxes right at the top, no digging required. - "On eclipse day": a card with what actually matters before it starts. Stand at the exact spot you want to watch it from, open augmented reality and find where the eclipse will be; if there's a mountain or a building right there, you won't see it, so move somewhere else. - "How it will look": a large preview of the eclipse at its peak. Tap it and the full animation opens. - Improved augmented reality: the full path of the Sun and the Moon is now visible, together with the point where they meet, and it fills the whole screen. - The map of your observation point is now built into the card, next to the rest of the data. - Translations reviewed and completed: some text was still showing up in Spanish inside the app in other languages, and that's now fixed.
