TinyPitch is a pitch pipe that lives on your wrist. Give a choir its starting note, check your own pitch, or find a key without digging your phone out of your pocket.
TAP TO PLAY
Every note of the 12-tone chromatic scale is on one screen. Tap a note to start it, tap again to stop, or let it fade out on its own.
THREE INSTRUMENTS
Press and hold any note to choose piano, clarinet, or a pure tone.
THREE OCTAVES, AND IT REMEMBERS
Swipe up on a note for the octave above, down for the one below. Your choice stays until you change it — including the next time you open the app — so you are not resetting it after every note. The keypad shades to the left when you are in the low octave and to the right when you are in the high one, so you can always see where you are.
VOLUME IN YOUR FINGERTIPS
Spin the Digital Crown, while a note is playing or between notes. Loud enough for a whole choir, or quiet enough that only you hear it with the watch held to your ear.

Cannot get it to install on my Watch. It does not show up as installed nor as available.Update: I rebooted the iPhone and the Watch, and was able to install. Please note: it might be a pecluliarity in iOS. My Watch is a series 4. The phone is a 6S Plus. When I rebooted and saw that tinypitch was available to install on the Watch, I tapped install. Several other apps, which were already installed, started to install as well. I tapped the spinners on each of those other apps, and for each of them I got the message that it was uninstalling. And indeed, they were uninstalled, and I had to install them again.Anyway, TinyPitch is now installed on my Watch, and it is exactly what I need.

I can’t wait to use this for the early childhood music classes I teach! Each song must begin on the correct starting pitch and in the past I’ve always had to carry around a pitch pipe. This is game changing! I love my Apple Watch! So many fun new possibilities. Thanks TinyPitch 👍🏼🎶UPDATE: also the developer is a musician himself and super cool, I reached out to him to ask for a feature (setting a default instrument selection so it won’t revert back to TONE) and he’s going to fix that in the next update! Tiny Pitch is by far the best pitch pipe app for the Apple watch. It's quick and easy to use. The wide range of volume makes it the perfect tool to do everything from giving a pitch to a big choir for everyone to hear to pitch checking so quietly that no one else can. As a working classical musician, it is so nice not having to remember to bring a tuning fork or pitch pipe with me every day every day, because it lives on my wrist now! Highly recommend spending the $1.99 for this awesome app.

As a freelance vocalist, it’s clear that this developer understands the needs and unique use cases of professional singers. Every design choice and new feature (such as the ability to quickly and reliably swipe left or right to change octaves) caters to the needs of actual working musicians. If you are looking for a pitch app for your Apple Watch, look no further. TinyPitch easily blows away the competition.
Instrument switching works again. It used to rely on Force Touch, which Apple removed from the Apple Watch, so on newer watches there was no way to reach piano, clarinet, and tone. Now you press and hold any note to pick one.
The octave stays where you put it. Swiping up or down used to move only the note that was sounding; every note after it snapped back to the middle. Now it sticks until you change it, and it is remembered the next time you open the app. You can also swipe with nothing playing.
You can see which octave you are in. The keypad shades toward the left in the low octave and toward the right in the high one, and stays flat in the middle.
No more click when you jump between notes quickly. Notes now fade in and out over a few milliseconds instead of being cut off.
The note you are playing stays lit while you change octaves.
The watch face complication shows up properly. It used to appear as an empty dot on most faces; it now works on all of them, including the modern Infograph faces.
