You can now create and switch between multiple timer presets – great for when you have more or less time than usual. – Create up to 3 custom presets in Settings → Duration and sound. – Create custom presets for different situations (e.g., a longer session at home with chimes, a quicker one without Pranayama for commuting, or one without chimes for group meditations in your TM center). – Set different segment durations, chimes, and volume levels per preset. – Switch between them instantly on the Transcend screen. Tips for meditators – Your usual session (20 minutes of TM + 3 minutes to come out slowly) is still your go-to one to keep. – If time allows, starting with 5 minutes of Pranayama balances the breath and settles the mind before meditation. – Always allow yourself time to come out gently — it’s an important part of the process. In this update, we’ve made major improvements to the timer settings, based on your feedback. - Consistent timer volume — Your preferred chime volume stays the same, regardless of your device’s volume. - Quick volume control — Adjust the timer volume easily, even using your device’s volume buttons while on the Transcend screen. - More flexibility with chimes — Set different tones for each timer segment individually. - New chimes added — Choose from Jai Guru Dev spoken by Maharishi (after your TM segment), the Fairfield Golden Dome gong, or the original chime. So you can use e.g. “Chime” after Pranayama, “Jai Guru Dev” after TM, and “Gong” after Come out slowly. - Extra timer segment — Add an additional segment, e.g. for your Advanced Technique. In this update, we’ve resolved an issue with the real-time meditation count. Recently, the number of users meditating with the app has been displaying much lower than the actual count. This update corrects the issue, so you can see an accurate, real-time TM community presence in the app. Please note: For the meditation count to display correctly, we need as many users as possible to update to this latest version.
