Press Option-Space on your Mac for the verification code, screenshot or photo that just landed on your Android phone. No cable, no account, nothing sent to the cloud. tomac brings your Android phone's clipboard-worthy moments to your Mac in one keystroke. Press Option-Space and a panel opens at your cursor with the verification code that just landed on your phone, and the screenshot or photo you took a moment ago. Return copies it. Command-S saves it to Downloads. No cable, no import step, no account. Verification codes are read from your phone's notifications, never from your text messages, so tomac catches codes from banking apps and email too, from any app that shows the code in a notification. A matched code goes straight to your Mac's clipboard. Send files the other way too: drag one onto the tomac panel, or right-click anything in Finder and choose Send to Phone. From your Android phone, use the share sheet or the Quick Settings tile to send a link, photo or PDF to your Mac's clipboard. Turn on notification mirroring and your phone's notifications show up in your Mac's own Notification Center. Dismiss one on either device and it clears on both. Mute or unmute any app, from the phone or from the Mac's menu. tomac needs the free tomac app on your Android phone (Android 10 or later) to work. The two devices pair once, on the same Wi-Fi, by comparing a six-digit number shown on both screens. From then on they talk only to each other, over an encrypted, certificate-pinned connection. There is no server, no account and no analytics. Nothing tomac reads on your phone is uploaded anywhere. It only ever travels to your own Mac, on your own Wi-Fi. tomac does not mirror your screen, place calls or send text messages, and it does not work with an iPhone.
