Every Total.js Code instance you work with in one native window: grouped, always warm, saving to a folder on your Mac, and signing in on its own.
TotalCode is a native workspace for the Total.js Code instances you work with — your own servers, your own projects, in one window instead of a drawer full of browser tabs.
ALL YOUR INSTANCES, IN ORDER
Add each Code instance once, give it a name, an icon and a colour, and put it in a group. The sidebar keeps them the way you arranged them, and a dot tells you which ones are open. Click one and it is there.
THEY STAY WARM
An instance you open keeps running in the background, so going back to it is instant — the editor is where you left it, with the file you were writing still open. Close one from its menu when you want the memory back.
YOUR FILES, ON YOUR MAC
Code's "Save locally" and "Download source" write into a folder you choose, and every project keeps its own folder inside it — renaming a project or moving it to another group leaves its files where they are. Open in Finder takes you straight there, and when saving needs you (a disk to plug in, a folder to choose again) a notice above the page says so, with the fix.
SIGNED IN, WITHOUT TYPING IT AGAIN
Sign in to an instance as you always do, and TotalCode offers to keep that login in the Keychain. Next time it fills the form for you, after Touch ID, Face ID or your password. Logins travel with iCloud Keychain, so a project you open on the iPad already knows them, and Edit Project shows what is saved for each address — and removes any of it.
WHEN YOU NEED THE BROWSER
One click, a menu item or ⇧⌘O opens the page you are looking at in your own browser, for the developer tools that live there.
IT TRAVELS
Your groups and projects fit in one file. Turn on workspace backup and it is kept up to date in your folder; restore brings it back on another Mac or on the iPad. Coming from the old Electron app? Paste its backup and everything arrives.
IT BEHAVES LIKE A MAC APP
⌘N for a project, ⇧⌘N for a group, ⌘R to reload, ⌘, for settings, and the light or dark appearance you asked for — in the app and inside Code. The sidebar, the forms and the settings work with VoiceOver and full keyboard access.
WHAT YOU NEED
Total.js Code instances of your own, reachable from this Mac or iPad. TotalCode is the window around them; it does not host them.
TotalCode is made by the team behind Total.js.

SAVED LOGINS
Sign in to a Code instance once and TotalCode offers to keep that login in the Keychain. Next time it fills the form for you, after Touch ID, Face ID or your password. Logins travel with iCloud Keychain, so a project you open on the iPad already knows them, and Edit Project → Logins shows the ones saved for each address — and removes any of them.
OPEN IN BROWSER
The page you are looking at opens in your own browser with one click, from the toolbar, from a project's menu or with ⇧⌘O — handy when you want the developer tools.
Help now covers both, with the keyboard shortcuts.
