BUILD WITH CONTEXT • Create new Total.js 4 or 5 projects, or open an existing project folder. • Get version-aware completions, signatures, Quick Help, definitions and project-wide diagnostics for backend code, views and jComponent. • Format JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other supported documents while preserving Total.js conventions. RUN AND DEBUG • Run projects with the included Node.js and Total.js runtimes—no global setup required. • Preview applications in a responsive window with live reload and frontend console diagnostics. • Debug the backend with breakpoints, conditions, exception pauses, call stacks, scopes, expressions and step controls. • Inspect frontend JavaScript, the DOM and network activity with Safari Web Inspector. KNOW YOUR PROJECT • Navigate routes, actions, schemas, plugins, components and pending-work markers. • Browse Total.js APIs, QueryBuilder drivers and framework-aware help beside your code. • Inspect supported local databases, manage configuration and add Componentator UI components. • Search the whole project and keep local restore points for fast recovery. • Work with Git and GitHub without leaving the workspace. ASSISTANCE WITH CONTROL • Use supported coding agents or a local Ollama or llama.cpp model. • Give agents project context, version-aware Total.js knowledge and access to bundled framework source. • Review tool actions and approve project changes explicitly. • Keep shared AI memory under your control: inspect entries, delete individual items or clear everything. YOUR PROJECT, YOUR WORKSPACE TotalIDE edits the folders you choose. Project analysis, formatting, runtime tools and local history are built into the app. External services are optional and only used when you choose a connected feature. Some assistant and GitHub features require internet access and may require a separate third-party account or subscription.
