Touch3D Scan is an Apple Vision Pro workspace for viewing compatible CT, MRI, DICOM, scientific-volume, mesh, and USD-family files in windows and mixed immersive space.

RESEARCH ALIGNMENT WORKFLOWS
Touch3D Scan includes guided research and engineering tools for estimating a static rigid relationship between a scan model and a physical reference surface:
1. Four corresponding points
Select four named scan-side points and collect the corresponding physical-space points. The app calculates a software alignment estimate, identifies inconsistent pairs, and requires separate holdout verification.
2. Four points plus surface samples
Start from the four-point estimate, then collect separated surface samples. The app reports software residuals, coverage, correspondence support, and drift from the initial estimate.
3. Reviewed external skin manifest
Import an independently reviewed, study-specific external-surface manifest, then complete the same physical point and surface workflow. No automatic SAM service or automatic patient-study upload is included in this build.
INPUT HARDWARE
The primary input method is Apple Vision Pro's built-in Hand Tracking. A compatible Logitech Muse may optionally be used as a general-purpose spatial input accessory for point selection, surface tracing, and Undo. Muse is not required. Touch3D Scan does not connect directly to CT/MRI scanners or to regulated medical hardware.
LOCAL-FIRST PROCESSING
No Orthopractis account is required. The submitted build does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, developer-operated analytics, or automatic upload of selected studies to Orthopractis. User-selected files are processed locally. User-initiated exports and independently selected external services are controlled by the operator and are subject to the destination service's terms.
HARDWARE AND REGULATORY STATUS
Touch3D Scan uses Apple Vision Pro as a spatial computer and may use an optional general-purpose spatial input accessory. It does not connect to or control regulated medical hardware. No medical-device or medical-hardware regulatory clearance is claimed in any jurisdiction.
