TournyON is a tournament-management app for sports clubs running recreational nights, leagues, and one-off events. Set up a session, share a join code, run group play and playoffs, and crown a champion from your phone. Currently used by Chartland Elite, a recreational volleyball club running weekly tournaments.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Set up a tournament with any number of players and pools. One-pool and two-pool formats are built in, with automatic round-robin schedules and balanced rest between matches.
- Run multi-tier playoffs after group play. Top, middle, and consolation brackets are seeded automatically from pool standings so every player has something meaningful to play for.
- Record scores from any device. Best-of-three, single-game, and series formats are supported, with an Undo toast if you fat-finger a tap.
- Watch the night progress in real time. A live standings table, a "next up" panel, and per-court live scores update across every connected device the moment a result is entered.
- Track player skill over time with Glicko-2 ratings (the same system used by competitive chess). TournyON runs the full Glicko-2 algorithm after every match, so seedings get smarter the more you play.
- Hand each player a personal "My Next Match" view showing their next opponent, current standing, tonight's win-loss line, and the full match log.
- Crown a champion. The trophy and podium pages render a shareable result screen at the end of every tournament — perfect for the group chat or a season recap.
- Keep a tournament history. Every completed night is archived, so you can scroll back through previous champions and stat lines all season.
DESIGNED FOR THE GYM, NOT THE OFFICE
TournyON is a single-screen, glance-friendly experience. Cards are tall, buttons are thumb-sized, and the live scoring panel works one-handed. Dark theme by default so screens stay readable under fluorescent gym lights.
FREE, NO ACCOUNTS, NO ADS
There is nothing to sign up for. No email, no password for players, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no analytics tracking. Organizers protect their session with a simple passcode so only the people in the gym can record scores.
