Awesome Ballistics Calculator
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Now with full 6-DoF solver, 1,279-bullet database, and live atmospheric data. Built for handloaders who measure twice and shoot once. Free. No ads. No login.
Trajex is a serious exterior ballistics calculator for precision rifle
shooters and handloaders. Built around two real solvers — a Modified
Point-Mass engine for fast field solutions and a full 6-Degree-of-Freedom
rigid-body solver for extreme-range and transonic work — it gives you
the math the load actually deserves.
No subscriptions. No accounts. No ads. No telemetry asking you to log in
to see your own data.
TWO TRAJECTORY ENGINES
• Modified Point-Mass (MPM) — fast, accurate solutions for normal
shooting envelopes using G1 or G7 ballistic coefficients.
• 6-DoF rigid-body solver — full angular dynamics for long-range,
high-angle, and transonic regimes where point-mass models break down.
Choose the engine per shot. Compare the difference on the same chart.
BULLET & LOAD MANAGEMENT
• 1,279-bullet database spanning 15 major manufacturers, with G1 and
G7 BCs where published.
• Build rifles with photos, twist rate, sight height, zero range, and
scope configuration.
• Manage loads as rifle-independent recipes linked by cartridge — one
load works across every rifle chambered for it.
• 405-cartridge CIP catalog with 401 official TDCC specification PDFs
for dimensional reference and load workup.
ATMOSPHERE THE WAY IT ACTUALLY IS
• One-tap GPS location capture.
• Live atmospheric data from Open-Meteo: pressure, temperature,
humidity, wind speed and direction.
• Or enter conditions manually when you're underground, off-grid, or
just don't trust the forecast.
Coriolis effect and gyroscopic spin drift are computed automatically
from your latitude, azimuth, and bullet spin — not toggled on as a
gimmick.
RESULTS YOU CAN ACT ON
• Drop, windage (left/right), remaining velocity, energy, and time of
flight at every range step.
• Interactive trajectory chart with separate ELEVATION and WINDAGE
views — drag along the curve to read any range.
• SCOPE tab renders your reticle with true MOA or MIL graduation,
showing the holdover and wind hold for the target distance.
• Imperial and metric units, switchable globally.
BUILT FOR THE BENCH AND THE FIELD
• Dark "precision-instrument" interface designed to be readable at
the bench, in the truck, and on the line.
• Local-first storage. Your rifles, loads, and zero data live on your
device.
• Backup and restore that MERGES — restoring a backup never deletes
what's already there. Move between devices without fear.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Trajex is built for handloaders, F-Class and PRS competitors, hunters
working past 600 yards, and anyone who reads "BC at Mach 1.2" and
wants to know which model the number came from. If you've ever
squinted at a free ballistics app and wished it had the math, the
data, and the discipline of a real tool — this is that tool.
WHAT TRAJEX IS NOT
It is not a rangefinder. It is not a wind meter. It does not pretend
your phone's barometer is a Kestrel. It will not upsell you a "pro"
tier to unlock features you already paid for — because you didn't
pay anything.
Free. Built by a shooter, for shooters. Feedback welcome
