Live meeting transcripts, speaker labels and summaries, processed on your Mac. Record both sides of a call and keep audio and Markdown in your own folder. Transcripts writes down your meetings as they happen, on your own Mac. It notices the call Transcripts lives in the menu bar and watches for Teams, Zoom, Webex and Meet. When a call starts it asks whether to record, and stops when the call ends. It can start on its own if you'd rather, and anything else is one click: a voice note, a conversation in the room. Both sides of the call Your microphone and the other participants are recorded as separate tracks, so the transcript knows who said what. Teach it a voice once and it names that person in every meeting after. Read it while it's still happening Words appear as they're spoken, in a small pill at the edge of the screen and in a plain file you can open, or point an assistant at, before anyone has hung up. The overlay answers the question that was just asked, from earlier in the call or from your own notes, and says which. Afterwards, a document A summary, the action items, and the transcript with each speaker named, saved as Markdown in a folder you choose with the audio beside it. Choose the same iCloud Drive folder as the Transcripts app on your iPhone and iPad and every recording is on every device. Private by design Transcription and summaries run on your Mac. No account, no servers, no analytics. The speaker-recognition and summary models download once, the first time they're needed; your audio and transcripts never leave your Mac unless you put them somewhere that syncs. Open source The app is open source under the MIT licence, so the privacy claims above are checkable rather than promised. Recording laws vary by location, and some places require the consent of everyone in a conversation. Please make sure you may lawfully record before you do.
