THE PROBLEM You work with an AI model on real documents. A client sends a Word file or a PDF. You want the model's help, and then you must hand back a document that looks like your other documents. Today that costs you twice: the file goes in as pictures of its pages, so you pay for every page twice and reach the context limit early; and the answer comes back as chat text, so you rebuild the formatting by hand.
