Uncloud turns hardware you already own - an old laptop, a mini PC, a NAS, or a dedicated Uncloud Node into private cloud storage you can reach from anywhere in the world. Your files live on your hardware and are encrypted before they ever leave your phone.
WHY UNCLOUD
Other cloud storage services charge you every month, forever, for space you often don't fully utilize. If you have a large amount of data you are stuck paying forever. Uncloud moves the hardware to your control whilst we control the integration and networking between your hardware and your phone.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTION
Every file is encrypted on your phone before it's uploaded. Your phone holds the keys. Uncloud never receives them. Your node only ever stores encrypted data. Data is transferred directly between your node and your phone.
ACCESS FROM ANYWHERE
The Uncloud network acts as a secure peer-to-peer connection bridge between the app and your storage node. View, upload, and stream your files from anywhere - with no port forwarding and nothing to configure on your router. It will just work.
NO STORAGE LIMITS
Your capacity is whatever your drives hold.
GETTING STARTED
Uncloud requires a storage node - either an Uncloud Node, or your own macOS or Linux device running the free Uncloud agent. Setup is a single install command, and the node self-configures the moment it's connected.
Access over your local network is always free. Remote access to self-hosted nodes requires a connection subscription; Uncloud Node hardware includes remote access.
