This update is about the app telling you more, and moving more gently. • A short file list now explains the empty space below it. A pane reading "4 items" could be four files, or four out of two hundred with a filter on — and nothing distinguished them. It now says which, how many of these names are also in the other pane, and what changed here recently. A folder with nothing to report stays quiet. • Undoing an operation rewinds the timeline instead of blinking: in Undo History the entry lifts out of the list and fades as the rows below slide into its place. • Every animation now respects Reduce Motion. Thirty-one places ignored the setting before, including the two largest movers — the terminal dropping over half the window, and the first-run slides. Swapping panels, opening the folder tree and changing theme are animated now too. • A few quiet asides: a word about the hour if you open Unifyl after 1am, a note that nothing moved while you were away, and a nod the first time you pass a thousand files copied. All of it is off with Settings ▸ Playful touches.

This update makes undo safe. If you have ever pressed ⌘Z after a copy or a move, it may not have undone what you thought. • Undoing a copy or move could delete the wrong file. It worked out what to undo from the name you asked for, not from where the file actually went — so after answering a name conflict with "keep both", it deleted the file that was already there and left the copy behind. After choosing "skip", where nothing had been copied at all, it deleted that file too. • Undoing a folder copy that had merged into a folder of the same name deleted that folder, with everything already inside it. • Copy to Opposite Panel (⌘D), Move to Opposite Panel and the command palette's copy and move were not undoable at all. They are now. • A file you deleted to the Trash could not be put back. The delete itself was always correct, but Finder's Put Back said the folder no longer existed while it was sitting right there — so the one-click way back from an accidental delete was gone. • ⌘Z did not undo a file operation. Edit ▸ Undo File Operation worked and is where the shortcut is documented, but the key was going to macOS's own text undo, which is inactive unless you are typing. Also in this update: • Thirteen more languages are complete. 128 menu titles, labels and messages had only ever been translated into Korean. German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Thai and Vietnamese now carry all of them, matched to Apple's own macOS wording rather than translated literally.

This update fixes problems that could lose or damage files. If you use Unifyl to move work around, it matters. • Folder sync deleted the files it promised to copy — a sync planned as "copy to the right" removed them from the left instead. • Copying a file onto itself deleted it. Copying a folder into its own subfolder filled the disk instead of refusing. • Deleting a file inside an archive could remove a different file of the same name sitting beside the archive, bypassing the Trash. • Editing a file inside an archive now writes it back — including when you quit before switching back to Unifyl. • Archives listed every file as 0 B and mangled Korean, Japanese and Chinese filenames. • Multi-Rename could rename the folder you were standing in, and crashed on a large numbering value. • Korean, Japanese and Chinese names were rejected at about a third of the length macOS allows. • The hex editor discarded everything past 10 MB when saving a large file. • Encoding conversion had no Korean encoding in its fallback chain, so Korean files were decoded as Latin text. • Duplicate detection counted hardlinks and copy-on-write clones as space that deleting would not actually free. • Content search quietly matched nothing for patterns like report*.txt. • Checksum verification failed for every file listed in binary mode. • Three-way merge reported conflicts that were not there. Also in this update: • Settings ▸ Shortcuts now works. All 133 commands can be given a key, and the key you assign is the one that fires — until now, nothing you changed there had any effect. • Dragging between panels copies by default; hold ⌘ or ⇧ to move. • Dragging into an open archive lands inside it, dragging onto a remote connection uploads, and a drag can be undone with ⌘Z. • Dragging a file to the Trash works. • ⌘I opens a real Get Info panel. Reveal in Finder is now its own menu item. • Renaming no longer drops the file extension. • Quitting saves the folder each panel was showing. • F5 and F6 to a remote panel upload instead of writing the files to a folder on your Mac. • Items inside an archive or on a remote connection now say what they cannot do, instead of appearing to succeed. • The PRO badge appears in every language, not only English.

Unifyl 1.6.3 — meet everything it can do. - Tips: a card for every feature, shown at launch and anytime from Help > Tips, with real shortcuts and a plain-language note on what each tool does and when to use it. - Right-click actions and Cmd-Delete apply to all marked files again, and marked files stand out clearly on dark themes. - Restore Purchases shows clear progress and a per-result message. - 3-way merge won't silently drop a file it can't read as text. - No more surprise "enter your keychain password" prompts. - Fewer beachballs across AI scans, macro replay, and cloud-file tooltips.
