UpNote is incredible. In most, if not all, ways it exceeds the stock Notes app that come with Apple products. First off, UpNote lets you search specific folders (this is something you still can’t do with Notes). Second, UpNote gives users more heading options (H1-H6 plus “Normal”). Additionally, most (possibly all) text modification options are tied to hot keys. This makes it very easy to set different heading levels and to organize and style text as you see fit without moving the cursor. In this way, UpNote also offers a productivity boost over Notes. Also, thanks to a sync system that is seamless and the availability of both iPad and iPhone apps, UpNote makes it easy to get your notes wherever you need them. Also, just like Notes UpNote incorporates tags as another method for organizing notes. Finally, UpNote is filled with useful and well-implemented features. Here’s one of my favorites: based on the heading level you choose in a document (e.g., H1-H6), UpNote will automatically generate a table of contents in the Info pane of a note. Additionally, that table of contents is clickable, so you can easily jump to sections of your notes. I don’t mean to gush (I have no affiliation with the app or the developers), but this app is incredible and well worth the money.

I have been searching for a new notes app since Evernote began to charge outrageous prices. I have tried Standard notes, BEAR, Notesnook, Amplenotes.... may I continue. After searching high and low, I have come to the conclusion that Upnotes is the best because 1. It is simple. 2. The app is written well so it does not get in the way of your work. 3. I have not had any syncing issues. For me this means that they have the best importer from evernote. They have markdown support. 4. Robust features including - Collapasable sections, note linking, Apple pencil support, text color, higlighting etc. 5. Finaly the way they handle attachments is excellent. My attachments look outstanding. The only negative I have is that UpNotes does not have end to end encription. I hope they are able to develop this feature in the future. But, inspite of that flaw, because of all that this app offers it deserves a 5 star rating!

For years and YEARS I have been searching and digging for a "Notebook App" to fit my desires! I really have wasted much more time than i'd like to admit while on this hunt through the App Store! There are just SO many apps to sift through, and I'm definately one to read reviews prior to downloading so like I said MUCH time wasted. HOWEVER, amidst Opening another business (that makes 3 now!) I NEEDED something to help me orgnaize EVERYTHING, not just notes, I also needed help organizing stuff for all 3 businesses, my home life, groceries, and all the endless lists that come with homesteading / farmlife, even just simple thoughts that get lost throughout the day.. And I needed this to sync across all of my devices..UpNote gave me the ability to create several different notebooks all inside of one! With the ability to keep some secured if desired. Everything is organized so i'm not searching all over the place, I have the ability to upload files, photos, tables, codes, there's several different font/layout options when it comes to text alignment, indent/outdents, dividers. I can make Check-lists, have bullet points, share notes.. There is SO MUCH you can do on this one App!!! I tried it for free for a week, and was having such an easy time that I decided to look into what the purchase options were. I very very rarely purchase apps from the App Store, or leave reviews. But the purchase to me is WORTH IT! Hands down! I've had so much more progress made not just with my businesses, but with my life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...The absolute ONLY thing I could even think would make this app any cooler was if they could incorperate a calendar along with the notebook so I could stop using my google calendar and just use UpNote entirely! I also HAD to leave a review because I've been using UpNote for awhile now, so I'm dead sold on it, and I wisht to help others who may be on the timeless search I was on, searching for that special "Notebook App"
