more Every now and then I need to create flowcharts, process diagrams, etc. For a couple of years I had been using another app that felt limited and kludgy to me. So I searched the app store looking for something else to try, and I found VisualDesigner.I'm very happy with it. I can create flowcharts, etc. much more quickly. They look better, and there are many options for shapes, styles, clip art, etc. There is a bit of a learning curve - that's the case with any software. The developer created extensive context-aware explanations and tips and hints for how to use the software. That really shortened the learning curve. It looks like that was a lot of work for the developer, and it's quite helpful.There were a couple of features that I couldn't figure out even with the built-in help. I sent a couple of emails to the developer and he replied promptly with clear, complete explanations.The free version of the software limits you to 100 elements in a drawing. I will probably never hit that limit, but I upgraded to the paid version anyhow because this software is so helpful to me and I believe software developers deserve to be paid when they write good programs.

Many of the features are automatic and intuitive; for example when placing a figure on the canvas alignment ‘hints lines' appear so that I know when a group of boxes are properly aligned, they disappear if I don’t want a figure aligned or I completed placing the object.My bottom line is that the price is reasonable (I don’t have to worry about my boss approving the purchase) and the quality is great.
