Vereniging van Nederlandse Visspecialisten (VNV) is sinds 1982 actief in het behartigen van de belangen van visspecialisten in Nederland. Na het wegvallen van belangrijke organisaties in 2013 heeft VNV veel taken op zich genomen die voorheen door deze instanties werden uitgevoerd. VNV fungeert als spreekbuis voor de visdetailhandel en vertegenwoordigt deze bij instellingen en instanties die het beleid in de vissector bepalen.
