Scan a dish with an iPhone 15 Pro or newer Pro model and turn it into a 3D model. Upload the finished model to your venue panel with a single button.
VuPlate scans your dish, cake or pastry with your iPhone and turns it into a 3D model right on your device.
Scanning requires an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max. Regular (non-Pro) models do not have the LiDAR sensor that scanning needs.
The app is free. It contains no purchases, no subscriptions and no account registration. Scanning, the 3D preview and your saved model library all work on the phone without signing in. Signing in is optional and only serves to send a finished model to your venue panel, and the panel account is created by our team.
HOW IT WORKS IN THE APP
1. Place the product on a table and walk around it with your iPhone. The app guides you through two angle layers and makes sure you capture everything needed.
2. Your phone assembles the photos into a 3D model right on your device. You can preview it in 3D right away.
3. One button sends the finished model to your venue panel.
AFTER IT REACHES THE PANEL
The web panel, not this app, generates a QR code ready to print. A guest scans it with their phone camera and sees the product at true size, with nothing to install. That is a feature of the website, the app plays no part in it.
WHAT YOU GET IN THE APP

- A 3D preview on your phone before you send anything.
- A library of saved scans on your phone, with a photo counter and a preview of every model.
- A warning when a scan comes out with holes, before anyone else sees it.
WHO IT IS FOR
Restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops, cafes and any place where showing the product before a guest orders it makes a difference.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Scanning works only on iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, because these models have a LiDAR sensor. On regular (non-Pro) iPhones and older devices the app opens normally but will not capture a new scan.
