WebDAVNav Server is a basic WebDAV server which can be used to quickly share files and folders from your Mac with other computers, mobile devices and apps, including WebDAV Navigator available in the iOS App Store. * Quick setup, select the folder to share and click the Start button * Download, Upload, Rename, Copy and Move files in your selected folder * Includes the ability to set a username and password if required * Support for HTTPS using provided .p12 certificate and private key * Option to generate self-signed certificate if required * View shared folder contents through a web browser using the HTML interface * Drag and drop folders on the status icon to start sharing a new folder * Support for multiple shares * Select which network adapter to bind to

I use this for sharing files between Mac and Windows. I like how you can set a name and password, and it's easy to turn on and off so you don't always have the shared folder available on the network.On the Windows side just go to "This PC" in Windows Explorer, right-click to add a network location, and use the URL from the WebDAVNav Server dialog to connect.

I've been using WebDAVNav Server for many years now.From time to time, I've had new issues pop up due to macOS changes or WebDAV compatibility issues with new software. The developer has been responsive in fixing the issues, and has been a general pleasure to work with.

It took longer to download & install the application than to set up a webdav share of my folder. I'm ecstatic! I can now share my audiobooks in my house without using space on each device.

A gem of a utility. Fast, lightweight, works perfectly. I use mine for many tasks...not the least of which is as a target for a Synology backup so I can use Time Machine vs the confusing hyperbackup.
