Wild Vault is a personal photo organizer for nature photographers who want to track species, explore their shots, and relive their photographic journey — all directly from their iPhone.
What can you do with Wild Vault?
- Organize your photos by species, keywords, rating, EXIF and other metadata
- Easily find and assign any living species to your photos. The huge species database contains basically everything living, including animals, plants and fungi, thanks to iNaturalist.
- Quickly find photos of a specific animal, or filter based on any of the supported metadata. Combine filters for powerful results
- View and manage photo metadata
- Share your photos on social media or anywhere else
- Personalize your species repository, by assigning your favorite photo as “cover image”. Learn about species, starting directly from the app.
- Attention: Wild Vault is NOT an automatic identification app. You have to manually assign species to your photos, but you are backed by a huge database and tools that make it easy.
Wild Vault was designed with simplicity and fast workflows in mind. Maintaining your collection should be joy, not a struggle.
Ask better questions about your photos:
- Which species have I photographed so far? What are my best photos of each of them?
- Which photos haven’t been identified yet?
- Show me all my in-flight or action shots
- Find photos taken with a specific camera and/or lens
