So much potential !!!
The desktop app and web browser site work wonderfully, obviously we’re all waiting for that big ‘Photos’ update but in terms of accessibility, functionality, and the overall look and feel, this is an amazing service. Unfortunately, all these strong points on desktop do not translate well into the iPad app. Firstly, orientation is locked to vertical (boo), it lacks the clean/premium aesthetic found in the desktop versions, and for me, accessing files felt very clunky for some reason (perhaps an update including smooth animations would fix this). They understandably don’t primarily focus their energy on the iPad version but it is something I would love to be improved as I do use it more-so than any other of my devices. I look forward to that day, but for now, I have to give it 3 stars…
Regret getting 10tb
I thought 10 tb for lifetime would be amazing but I rather pay the monthly fee for pCloud then to have a one time payment for this . Photos never show up . Half way through the transfer it fails, when I try to reinitialized the upload process, it starts a new folder completely . Right after I see 7 gb used even after permanently deleting the old file. Developers used to respond to people, but only to good comments but when it comes to negative comments, they offer no reply no solution and doesn’t seem like they want to fix the app. If stacksocial didn’t have a deal on this I wouldn’t have bothered and nobody should bother even with the deal, not worth it. Only reason why I gave it two stars because there is potential in it, but only if the developers do something about it and actually take other peoples critiques into account because they are the users.
E for Effort
This app is looking fantastic so far, and I am so excited to see where it goes. I purchased the 5 TB lifetime, and hope that I’ll get to use it all. When the photos section comes out, a face-Id/PIN lockable container would be… useful. Perhaps for the drive as well.
I also want to add that for a file storage app, it is sorely lacking in methods of adding files. I’d love to be able to paste files in, or to select Internxt as an option in the share sheet and then navigate to the folder I need.
