Every note you play, visible

iPad
Connect a MIDI keyboard and every note you play rises from the keys in light. Graded practice, live theory, and clean video exports.
Xascada turns your piano into something you can watch.
Connect a MIDI keyboard — USB or Bluetooth — and every note you play rises from a full 88-key board in light. Nothing to set up and no project to create. Play, and it is there.
PRACTICE THAT KEEPS SCORE
Graded drills from grade 1 to grade 8: scales, arpeggios and contrary motion, one hand or both, at the tempo the grade asks for. Xascada follows what you play, finds the passages you stumble on and drills them in isolation, and remembers your best run at every speed you have tried. A daily routine picks what to work on; a mock exam tells you when a grade is ready.
TRAIN YOUR EAR
Clap-backs, cadences, musical features and key changes, plus chord recognition — name a chord by ear, or play the one you are asked for.
LEARN A PIECE
Pick any piece and learn it a step at a time — the notes wait for you. One hand or both, a few bars or all of it, at any tempo, round and round until it sits.
PLAY ALONG
Open any MIDI file and play with it: slow it down, loop the hard bars, tap the tempo, and see how closely you followed. Queue pieces into a playlist and let them run.
THE THEORY, AS YOU PLAY IT
Key, chord and Roman numeral, read live off what your hands are doing. No quiz and no flashcards — just the name of the thing you played, the moment you play it.
MAKE IT YOURS
Six palettes and five impact styles, from slow amber embers to fast blue-white comets. Cinematic mode clears the screen for just you and the light.
RECORD AND EXPORT
Every take is kept, tagged and searchable. Render one as a clean video — 9:16 for Reels, 1:1 and 4:5 for posts, 16:9 for YouTube, or a 4K master — with the piano you played or your own recording, aligned automatically. Export the notes as MIDI or MusicXML.
BUILT FOR iPAD
Metal-rendered and full frame rate, landscape, and quiet about itself: the interface fades while you play and comes back the moment you touch the screen. Press and hold anywhere for the menu. No keyboard to hand? Two octaves of on-screen keys play too.
