【虚拟新影院】根据影片内容提供限量点播资源，播放形式除了手机端观看以外还支持高清投屏。但每个播放链接都将内嵌可溯源暗码技术，拒绝摄屏及网络传播。
【经典新触达】中国电影资料馆APP可供点播的内容以经过我馆修复团队数字化精致修复的经典影片为主。改变的是画质，不变的是情怀。
【“西天”取新经】多年来，中国电影资料馆艺术影院举办过百余场影片主创交流、大师班讲座、小西天学堂等形式多样的线下活动。由于受到现场座位数或时间的限制，很多影迷遗憾地错过了当时的活动，这些影像资料将借此机会，通过整理和编辑，在名为“小西天时刻”的自制节目单元里提供长期免费点播。
【抢票新渠道】在淘票票的技术支持下，“中国电影资料馆”APP通过与淘票票购票端口对接，实现了在APP上购买艺术影院小西天店和百子湾店电影票的功能。“电影月历”的展示方式，使得用户查看排片和购票更为直观、便捷。
