Fixed bug affecting opening external links

You can now easily invite your contacts, lists, and tags to your group chats. It's easy to sync your contacts with you phone right from the group chat invites, then Shout will text or email any of your contacts that don't have Shout accounts with your invite link. If your contact already has a Shout account, it will automatically add them to the group chat and send them a Shout Notification letting them know they've been added.

CREATE TAP TO TEXT LINKS We've just released the ability to create Tap to Text links right inside of Shout! Tap to Text links are amazing for sharing on social media apps like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Shout, especially when you're building a text messaging list. Just tap "Links" from any composer, then tap "Short Links" and the "+" button to create a new Short Link. Tap the switch (mobile) or button (desktop) to convert the link to tap to text, Add your opt-in message plus select a trigger word (optional) and tap "Save". VOILA you've got a tap to text link! SHOUT ACTIONS Shout actions make it super easy to automate account management! Want to close all conversations opened by sending a broadcast? Easy! Want to start everyone in a list in a new drip plus add tags and manage their folders? Simple! Create Shout Actions from the web or desktop app. Run them from Lists, tags, or contacts, or add them to Broadcast. CONTACT ATTRIBUTES We’ve added a bunch more contact attributes! You now have 70 contact attributes, 10 date fields and 60 text fields. We also added nouns for all of these fields, so you can customize your messaging in up to 70 different ways! ACCOUNT ATTRIBUTES Want to standardize even more? Yay! We’ve added 40 new account attributes, 10 dates and 30 text fields, so you can save more information about yourself and then reference it with Shout Nouns. Find account attributes by opening the Menu in the app, tapping Settings > Account Info > Scroll to the bottom and tap “Manage Custom Account Fields”

Simplified Sign Up Hey Everyone, we’re so excited to release our new Simplified Sign Up! It’s even easier to login and create an account on Shout! Just enter a phone number or email address then enter the code or tap the link that your texted or emailed and you’re in! It’s never been easier to get started and get into your Shout account! Check all the other great enhancements below. ADD A PIN Now you can protect your most important and private conversations in Shout by adding a PIN. Once you add a PIN to the Shout app, Shout will periodically ask you to verify your pin. Forget your pin? No problem, just log back into your account with your phone number, email, or password. BETTER ONBOARDING Setting up your Shout account just got way easier! When you create your account through the mobile app, you’ll automatically be prompted to enable your push notifications and sync your contacts. You’ll be prompted to add your name and photo so all your peeps can easily find you in the Shout app. ADD AUTHORIZED USERS TO YOUR ACCOUNT Have a friend, family member, employee, or assistant managing your Shout account? Now you can easily add authorized users to your account. Simply add their cell phone number, and voila! They can now access your Shout account on the web or mobile application. SWITCH ACCOUNTS Have multiple Shout accounts? It just got way easier to switch between your Shout accounts. Just tap the “Switch Accounts” button from the menu and pick the account you want to switch to. Switch back whenever you want. P.S. You’ll still only get push notifications for the account that you are switched to.

Communities are now available! You can add group chats to a community as well as links.
