Trip Planning: Submit a request for trip planning help. We’ll connect you with a local itinerary expert to help you choose lodging, tours, and transportation. This is a free service we offer. Expert Advice Videos: We’ve produced new videos to answer frequently asked trip planning questions like “What is the best time to visit Alaska?”, “How many days do you need for an Alaska vacation?” and “What’s the best way to see glaciers in Alaska?” Favorites: Added extra protection to ensure favorites are not deleted from the app unless you delete The Alaska App from your iPhone or iPad. You can delete them afterwards with a swipe. Live Sync. The app has always worked offline, even where there's no cell coverage. Now, the app goes online periodically to check for new articles and listings between major app updates. New Audio Guide. Now you can listen to fascinating stories along the Alaska Railroad route.
