Remote DICOM communication works over Wi-Fi or cellular networks. OsiriX HD can use the built-in iOS VPN features for secure remote connectivity.

OsiriX HD supports medical imaging workflows, education, research, and remote image review.
REQUIREMENTS
DICOM image files or a compatible DICOM source, such as a PACS server, imaging workstation, or medical imaging device. Remote communication requires Wi-Fi or cellular network access.
LIMITATIONS
- Maximum image resolution: 1536 × 1536 pixels. Larger images are automatically downsampled.
- OsiriX HD is not intended for primary diagnosis.

Es una muy buena aplicación, excelente herramienta para visualizar imágenes DICOM. A mi criterio le faltan herramientas que puedan ser de utilidad para trabajar sobre las imágenes.Como por ejemplo hacer recontrucciones multiplanares, MPR, MIP. En líneas generales me parece excelente.
ENVÍO ESTUDIÓ COMPLETO A NODOS DICOM

Excelente aplicación la uso a diario, lo que le agregaría que es de suma utilidad para mí y supongo para varios, es la posibilidad de envío completo de un estudio, o de una serie determinada a un nodo DICOMEn la actualidad la única forma de enviar imágenes a un nodo es de a una en múltiples envíos algo bastante no practico. Repito excelente aplicación solo ese detalle por el momentoSaludos
