Habitat turns your smart home into what it always should have been.
Walk through your house with your iPhone and scan it in minutes. Habitat builds an interactive 3D model of your real home, then your lights, locks, sensors, thermostats and everything else live exactly where they are in real life. Tap the lamp in the corner of your living room to control that actual lamp. Turn on a light and watch your model light up with it.
YOUR HOME, BEAUTIFULLY RENDERED
The floor plan view is powered by a custom ray tracer built just for this app. Soft shadows, real light falloff, your home rendered like an architect's miniature and when you turn on a light at night, it casts actual light in the model and it's fully interactive.

• Temperature heatmaps - your sensors blend into a smooth gradient across your floors, so you can see the cold bedroom and the warm office at a glance
• Live state everywhere - lights, switches, locks, garage doors, doors, windows, security systems, fans, humidifiers and sensors update on the model in real time
• Ceiling fans spin when they're on. We felt this was important.
WORKS WITH HOMEKIT — SUPERCHARGED BY HOME ASSISTANT
Habitat works great with pure HomeKit. But connect Home Assistant (optional) and your home gets a memory:
• Real history graphs for every sensor — temperature, humidity and more, pulled straight from Home Assistant's local recordings
• Devices HomeKit can't see, like HomePod temperature sensors and robot vacuums
• Automatic discovery on your network — no hunting for IPs and ports
• Local + remote access with automatic failover
• Robot vacuum on the map - watch your robot drive around your 3D floor plan, with full controls: start, dock, battery, status (requires home assistant)
Both platforms merge into one home. You never think about which system a device came from.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No servers. No analytics. Your scans, layouts and settings sync through your own iCloud, and your home's data stays between your HomeKit hub, your Home Assistant, and your devices.
Requirements: HomeKit-compatible accessories. Room scanning requires a LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad Pro (floor plan import available for all devices). Home Assistant integration is optional.
Habitat Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.

A living model of your home
• Outdoor areas: Draw your garden, driveway or patio and watch them grow in around your home in 3D.
• Energy: Track electricity, water, gas and solar, and see which rooms are actually spending it.
• A more interactive home: Doors swing, garage doors lift and shades glide in the 3D model, live with the real thing.
• Draw your floorplan: No LiDAR? Draw or import a floorplan and Habitat builds the full 3D model from it using local ML models.
• Leak warnings: When a leak sensor trips, a warning shows in the 3D model and the room turns red so you see exactly where the water is.
• Real sunlight: The model is lit by the sun exactly where it sits over your home.
• Preview scenes in 3D: Long-press a scene to see the whole home relight before you run it.
• Manage your scan: Extend a floor, re-scan a single room or remove one, without scanning the whole home again.
