Exceptional App

I use AnyType to manage my second brain for all projects, ressources, and bookmarks. Virtually everything that touches my daily work.

I tried other apps, but none excelled at implementing the PARA method as AnyType. Thanks to a template on the blog, your setup is done in a minute.

What I like:
- Best in class everything knowledge base
- Graph and flow view
- Type system is terrific
- Performance. It's really fast and snappy
- Search, tagging, and views

What I hope will change:
- Navigation could be improved with an option to put the nav bar at the top

Overal it is the killer app for knowledge workers.

Everything I ever wanted

From tasks to notes, from movie lists to a home dashboard, from link bookmarks to saving important documents, I can do everything I ever wanted with this app. On top of that it’s beautifully crafted.

It’s biggest flaw is learning the app. The terminology and overall system is pretty confusing and very overwhelming at first, so you will have to sit down a couple of hours and actually learn how to use the app. But once you do you won’t regret it.
