Great for one language

I‘ve already had flash cards from pictures I took around me — the fact that the app automates this process in a nice-to-look-at, easy-to-use package is great.A minor annoyance is that it lets you switch your target language only once per week. I first thought that I could use the app for French (in which I‘m proficient) and Japanese (not so proficient). I didn‘t register that the app wasn‘t intended for multilingual mode, so now I‘m stuck with learning "parking spot sign post" in Japanese until I can switch back to French again.

Thanks so much for the kind words — and we totally hear you on the frustration.Right now we limit language switching to once per week to avoid losing progress, but here’s a little trick just between us: you can manually change your system date to one week later and unlock the switch. 😉We hope to support multilingual learning better in the future — thanks again for supporting CapWords!

This app is great for collecting vocabulary, especially for everyday items. I also love the feature that the language can be changed. However, for a language learning it is still underdeveloped. The review function still has a lot of upward possibility. When I review I don't want to see the word already written there in the learning language, only the photo - then when I tap on it have both native and learning language revealed.I would also appreciate a typing option, so that I can practice the spelling when reviewing. Although niche, an option to enable/disable pinyin writing style for Chinese would be great.
