Less is a simple, elegant, intuitive tool to help people who drink alcohol do so more mindfully, and make space for more drink-free days. From the creators of ZERO, the top rated fasting app, Less makes it easy to track your alcohol intake so you can stay aware of how much you drink and when. It’s a science-based approach to taking control of your consumption. As the saying goes, “What gets measured gets managed.”

This app is a judgment-free zone. It’s designed to help anyone who wants to moderate alcohol consumption, no matter what the reason. Whether you’re trying to sail through social situations without overdoing it, overwhelmed by the ocean of work functions involving alcohol, or seeking to chart a course toward better health, Less is your companion to navigate these stormy waters.

MEET LES AND LESLIE

Choose to experience the journey toward mindful consumption as either Les or Leslie. You’re the captain of this ship, and every decision is yours. As you log drinks, your daily intake affects the weather while your weekly intake affects your speed. Stay under your daily limit to keep the skies sunny. Stay under your weekly limit to keep the wind at your back. If you exceed your limits, you’ll run into stormy weather and slow your progress.

TRACK YOUR JOURNEY

SET LIMITS. Our algorithm will recommend a weekly limit, but you can customize that limit up or down to work at your own pace.

LOG DRINKS WITH A TAP. Quickly and easily log each drink from the homescreen, or use the widget to add drinks without opening the app for a more discrete tracking experience.

BUILD STREAKS. Less tracks how many drink-free days you rack up in a row so you can visualize your progress.

REVIEW YOUR WEEK. See when you drank and how much. Use this information to inform your choices moving forward.

REVIEW YOUR MONTH. The calendar view lets you see your entire consumption history so you can see the big picture of your alcohol intake.

CHART YOUR PROGRESS. Less transforms your inputs into easy-to understand graphs so you can see how your habits evolve over time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DANKE. Die App motiviert , -weniger zu Trinken und/oder Aufhören. !

Ich bin (<bis Ende letzten Jahres> schwere) Alkoholikerin.
9-12 Bier täglich an meinen „besten Tagen“ , od. ne flasche Whiskey.
mind. 4 Bier an sonstigen Tagen. Ich war mehrmals im Krankenhaus wg. „Entzugsanfällen“, wenn ich mal 2-3 Tage nichts trank.
& ich begann zu zittern wenn ich nach dem Aufstehen zu lange keins trank..)

jedoch bin ich Dank dieser App fast trocken. Ich trinke nicht mehr als 12 Bier pro Woche. wenn ich VIEL trinke. Ich weiß nicht ob es ohne diese App so schnell und schön gegangen wäre.
Nur weil ich sah wie oft ich vieeel weniger trank als sonst, fing ich an, aufhören zu wollen.! Das war bei psychiatr. Entzügen mein Problem : ich hatte SO viele Gründe aufzuhören - aber wollte einfach nicht!
Die App motiviert , weiterzumachen -mit weniger Trinken und/oder Aufhören. Mittlerweile trinke ich schon oft 2 wochen lang keines.

Good

Good idea and well made app, but the drinks are not send to the health app which makes the app kind of pointless because I could also just record the drinks in the health app directly. Also predefined drinks would be nice to calculate an estimated Promille value to better feed the health app.

Visually appealing, but lags behind the competition

The App is visually very appealing, but it doesn’t seem to update the drinks you track on the spot. For example it says I’ve been drink free for four days, when I just entered several drinks.

Also having no way to sync your tracked drinks to Apple Health makes it kind of incomplete when compared to other apps.
