Thank you everyone for the early support on my app. Big update today that I am proud to bring is a new set of Task Widgets that are interactive and allow the user to complete tasks right from the iOS Home Screen! • Added Task Widgets allowing users to mark tasks complete or incomplete directly from the widget with changes written to the file without opening the app • Allow users to hide completed tasks • Changed Markdown Widget to Note Widget • Added preview to the Note Widget • Updated widget when the file is edited outside the app using file monitoring • Added back dark mode and light mode to the widget • Changed the position of the save and cancel buttons • If a user is editing a Markdown file in the app and hits cancel with unsaved changes, the app will prompt them • When a user hits the edit button, the keyboard now comes up automatically • Updated the app to remove the cache of a file when the user removes it • Made circles bigger for Task Widget checkboxes • Once a user purchases the app, the “You’re using the free version” message will no longer be visible • Reduced the size of the header in the small Task Widget • Added buffer to the top of the header in the medium Task Widget • Fixed blank space at the bottom of the large Task Widget • Made the tasks remaining indicator more prominent • Added a “Why did you delete?” prompt when long-pressing a widget • Reduced font size of the small widget • Changed circles to still appear even when tasks are hidden • With two-way sync, the Notes Widget should always reference the original Markdown file • For the Task Widget, if something is marked complete, it should immediately be written to the original file • If the app is closed and something is marked complete, the app should compare and combine when reopened • If the widget updates when the app is closed, push the update to the file • Do not ask the user to purchase until they have imported at least one Markdown file
