The Nextcloud iOS app allows you to access all your files on your Nextcloud
Features:
- Read, rename, copy, move, delete all the files stored in your Nextcloud and send them to other App.
- Display documents, photos, videos, audio files.
- Automatically display previews of images and videos.
- Create new folders.
- Add any kind of data (documents, templates, photos, videos, voice memo, etc…).
- Tag the most important files and folders as ‘favorites’ or ‘offline’ to consult them offline.
- Use the Passcode function for an advanced level of protection of single folders or to prevent access to Nextcloud to other potential users of your iPhone.
- You can enable the automatic loading from the camera so your photos shots will be available on your Nextcloud.
- You can enable memory optimization Nextcloud to save space on your iPhone.

New to Nextcloud? Nextcloud is a private file sync & share and communication server. It is fully open source and you can host it yourself or pay a company to do it for you. That way, you are in control of your photos, your calendar and contact data, your documents and everything else.

Version 6.1.3
We have a lot of new features for this release, but the main ones are:
- We have completely redesigned the internal cache management for better photo management
- Now you can simply zoom in the Media function or in Files in photo mode with the pinch gesture
- Offline mode: you can create folders, rename your files, delete them, move them or copy them without needing to be online, as soon as the connection resumes your changes will be immediately sent to your server
- If you have multiple accounts now you no longer have to wait for the file transfer, you can switch to other accounts without your transfers stopping
- Use natural sorting for numbers in filename order
- If you have many files to synchronize you can enable the function: Keep screen while transferring files in Settings/Display
- In Auto upload you can select the favorites only
Remember to use the Transfers tab in More to view the various transfers with your server, it will be listed (in addition to uploads and downloads) the creation of new folders, the deletion of files and other commands that you have given to the server waiting to be sent (you can delete them if something goes wrong)

Unglaublich, die App funktioniert 😊
Ich hatte die Hoffnung schon aufgegeben und konnte mich mit alternativen Apps Jahre hinweg gut retten, aber nun die große Überraschung, die App läuft flüssig, Fotos, Videos und Daten werden flüssig und bedienbar wieder gegeben.Ebenfalls wirkt die App sehr professionell, was auch dem Sinn von Nextcloud entsprechen sollte, Besten Dank an die Programmierer 😉
"wurde unerwartet beendet"
Der Desktop Client funktioniert am Mac Book M1 mit auf OS 11.4 einfach nicht. Erstes Login ging, seitdem nur noch "unerwartet beendet", auch bei Neu-Installation.
Unusable at times, also crashes
Very frequent crashes while searching, crashes while clicking on search results, crashes while viewing images and videos, crashes while opening simple text files, crashes while uploading images via share sheet or does nothing at all and hangs. No apparent way to open the folder of search results. Hides cached items (all you clicked on!) behind five menus when you notice your device is full. No dashboard. You're better off using the browser-based version. Btw it crashes.
