Podium | Viewer is the stage display companion app for Podium Presenter. It is designed to show live content sent from a Mac in real time during events where timing and clarity matter.
Podium | Viewer does not create or edit content. It displays what is sent from Podium Presenter on a Mac, perfectly synced and scaled to the screen. What the presenter designs on the Mac is exactly what appears on the Viewer, without lag or distortion.
The app connects to Podium Presenter over the local network using Bonjour. No internet connection is required during use. Once connected, Podium | Viewer instantly displays text, images, timers, clocks, and alerts, and updates automatically as changes are made on the Mac.
Podium | Viewer is built for live environments where reliability is critical. It is commonly used as a stage screen, confidence monitor, or presenter display during worship services, corporate presentations, conferences, training sessions, and community events.
The Viewer app supports multiple types of content on the same screen, including large readable text, images, countdown timers, clocks in any timezone, and visual alerts. Timers and clocks update in real time and can be started, stopped, or reset from the Presenter app. Alerts can trigger visual flashes, sounds, haptics, or acknowledgement prompts to ensure important messages are noticed.
Podium | Viewer is optimized for iPad but also works on iPhone for monitoring or backup use. The layout automatically adapts to the device’s screen size and resolution to ensure clean, readable output.
Privacy and simplicity are core to Podium’s design. Podium | Viewer does not require accounts, does not show ads, and does not include tracking or analytics. All communication happens locally between devices, and no data is stored or transmitted to external servers. Content disappears when the session ends.
Podium | Viewer is intended to be used together with Podium Presenter on macOS. A subscription to Podium unlocks full functionality across the Podium system.
