Developed by CheckUP, the Access for All app is part of a training package aimed at raising mainstream health providers' awareness and knowledge of the barriers people with disabilities experience accessing mainstream health care. Access for All allows health providers to experience health care situations through three scenarios where they can play as:
1. A person with a disability;
2. A clinician; and,
3. A health care receptionist or administrator.
Players will be presented with situations based on true health care experiences of people with disabilities and their carers. Players will build awareness of the barriers experienced by people with disabilities and strategies to overcome the barriers and improve access to mainstream health care for people with disabilities.
